University of Lincoln

Below is a clear summary of what we know about their use of animals in research and how you can take action.

This university does not test on animals.

We have not found evidence of animal experiments at this university. However, we will keep reviewing the data in case this changes.

As per recent FOI:

I am able to confirm that although the University conducts research into animal behaviour and cognition, it does not possess a Home Office site licence and has performed no tests under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 i.e. experiments which may cause pain, suffering, distress or lasting harm. The University does conduct observational studies on animals to study behaviour.
